The Toolbox: Jade Davis on Frugal Innovation and Translatable Skills

Jade Davis photoJade Davis, Director of Digital Project Management at the Columbia University Libraries, gave a keynote lecture at the 2018 Digital Pedagogy Lab held at the University of Mary Washington in the last week of July. Her keynote was titled: Ahead of the Class: Frugal Innovation and Translatable Skills.

While Jade talked about ways to bring digital work into the classroom that meet the learning needs of the students and don’t kill teachers, she really focused on larger issues of student agency over learning on the 21st century college campus.
